These Terms govern your use of Patchscout (the “Service”), operated by [Your Company / Trading Name](“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Patchscout helps agencies find, qualify and reach local business leads. Features include business search, automated website analysis, outreach drafting and sending, and pipeline tracking. We may change or discontinue features over time.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be authorised to act for the organisation you register.
3. Subscriptions, billing & refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via our payment processor (Stripe). Your plan sets your monthly usage allowance. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing with notice for future billing periods.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully or to send unsolicited email in breach of anti-spam or data-protection laws;
- attempt to exceed, evade or abuse usage limits, or disrupt the Service;
- reverse engineer, resell or misrepresent the Service; or
- use it to harass, deceive, or harm others.
You are responsible for your outreach. Ensure you have a lawful basis to contact the businesses you email and honour opt-out requests.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of the data you input and the lead information generated for you. You grant us the licence needed to operate the Service (e.g. storing and processing it, and passing content to our sub-processors to perform search, analysis and sending). See our Privacy Policy.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for third-party outages (e.g. Google, Anthropic, Microsoft, Stripe) or issues outside our reasonable control.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or non-payment. On termination your access ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable period.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory local rights.
